The National Association of Federal Retirees has been supporting Canadian Federal Civil Service, R.C.M.P. and National Defense pensioner's interests since 1963. Beginning with 1600 members the Association has grown to over 160,000. With the support of the membership, the Association advocates for the retiree's benefits on the Provincial and National levels.
The Duncan and District Branch is one of five on Vancouver Island and has some 879 members at the end of 2008. Duncan Branch's catchment area is from the Malahat, Cowichan Valley and north to Ladysmith.
