Welcome
The Sidney and District Branch (SDB) is one of the five branches comprising the Federal Superannuates National Association (FSNA) British Columbia Coastal Islands Region (BCCIR). The membership of the SDB of the FSNA is drawn mostly from Sidney, the North Saanich Peninsula and the Gulf Islands.
A number of members who have moved away from the area have retained membership in the branch, so we also have scattered membership across the country.
As of 30 April 2011, our branch consists of 1575 members, spouses/partners and associates.
Mission Statement
- To Advocate measures beneficial to retirees and potential retirees of the PSC, CAF and RCMP and other Federal Agencies or bodies deemed appropriate by the National Board of Directors; To Oppose measures inimical to retirees and potential retirees;
- To Promote the general welfare of those mentioned above;
- To Inform and assist retirees and potential retirees mentioned above with regard to their rights as annuitants;
- and To Cooperate with other organizations in furtherance of mutual objectives.
