The Victoria Fred Whitehouse Branch is one of the five comprising the Federal Superannuates National Association (FSNA) British Columbia Coastal and Islands Region.
With over 4000 members, the branch serves federal retirees in the Greater Victoria area.
The northern boundary between the Victoria and Sidney branches runs approximately on an east-west line starting at Royal Oak drive and bisecting the Sannich Peninsula.
The name “Victoria-Fred Whitehouse” commemorates the acknowledged founder of FSNA, Mr. Fred Whitehouse, who was a resident of Victoria.  Mr. Whitehouse, then president of the Civil Service Federation, acted as the guiding hand in establishing the FSNA and was elected the first National Secretary-Treasurer in 1963.
